Amazon seeks data-driven Business Unit Finance Interns to conduct financial analysis and support business decisions in Seattle or Arlington, VA.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and diving deep into data to support recommendations and drive resolution for an individual intern project.
- Conducting financial analysis to identify capital investment requirements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Designing and maintaining insightful reporting to drive action of business partners.
- Interpreting and communicating results on projects and standard work to finance and business partner leadership.
- Supporting teams across Finance and Global Business Services including AWS, Devices and Services, Operations Finance, Central FP&A, and Stores organization.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, accounting, business administration and management, or related field with graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Available to work 40 hours/week for a 12-week summer internship between May and September 2026.
- Ability to relocate to the Greater Seattle Area or Arlington, VA; relocation assistance provided if eligible.
- No visa sponsorship available; remote work not permitted, all work must be in-person.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., vlookup, VBA).
- Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
- Understanding of business fundamentals and accounting concepts.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills focused on delivering business results.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions.
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels and act strategically under ambiguity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay ranges from $24.57 to $52.50 depending on geographic market and candidate qualifications.

Career Progression
- Opportunity to receive a full-time offer for the two-year Amazon Finance Rotation Program (AFRP) after internship completion; the full-time program is rotational.
