Finance and Risk Quantitative Strats - Summer Associate (Jun 2026)

Join Goldman Sachs’ Summer Associate Program to gain hands-on experience in finance, risk, and quantitative strategies within a collaborative global firm.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Participate in a nine to ten week summer internship fully immersed in day-to-day activities.
• Attend orientation to learn about the firm’s culture, benefits, and responsibilities.
• Receive training designed to support your success.
• Work on real responsibilities alongside fellow interns and firm professionals.
• Engage with divisions including Controllers, Corporate Treasury, Risk, and Quantitative Strategies, contributing to financial reporting, liquidity management, risk assessment, and quantitative modeling.
• Collaborate with business units, control departments, technology teams, and executive management.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Students pursuing advanced degrees such as MBA, PhD, JD, MD, or LLM.
• Individuals with strong quantitative analysis skills and interest in portfolio management and risk management.
• Collaborative team players with aptitude for innovation and logical thinking.
• Those capable of using advanced training in mathematics, programming, and research to solve real-world financial problems.
