Amazon MGM Studios seeks dynamic interns to support music coordination and production processes on award-winning films and shows.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist with music-related tasks such as creating cue sheets, researching synchronization rights, and conducting PRO repertory searches for Amazon Studios productions.
- Support the production process of award-winning shows and critically-acclaimed films, including tasks related to script coverage, scheduling, or production coordination.
- Participate in guest speaker sessions, networking events, and screenings to gain industry exposure and insights.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion while working on projects related to Amazon Studios' shows and films.
- Apply creative problem-solving skills and demonstrate excellent communication abilities across written, verbal, and interpersonal contexts in a fast-paced studio environment.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Commitment to work 40 hours/week minimum for a 12-week internship maximum.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or above in Film and Television Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, Audio Engineering, Visual Arts, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Outlook and strong competency in Word and Excel.
- Preferred experience in the entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and interpersonal contexts.
- Effective planning, time management, organizational abilities, and high attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving skills applied to complex situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Preferred prior experience with music cue sheets, music synchronization rights, PRO repertory search, Airtable and/or advanced Excel, social media market research, Photoshop, and Mailchimp.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $40,529/year to $49,535/year depending on geographic market.
- Compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Potential additional compensation including equity, sign-on payments, and other forms as part of a total compensation package.
