Join Texas Instruments' Field Applications Engineer track to develop technical expertise and customer-focused sales skills through a structured 12-month rotational program.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in a 12-month rotational program with three rotations: Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and Business Unit/Systems Engineering & Marketing.
- Work directly with customers to solve technical challenges and maximize TI's revenue by providing system-level solutions.
- Analyze technical trade-offs, component selection, and design and cost challenges.
- Scale sales actions across multiple customers and sectors, leveraging TI’s resources and automation.
- Engage in new product definition, schematic/layout capture, PCB layouts, fabrication processes, board bring-up, and validation.
- After program completion, serve as a Field Applications Engineer on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team.
- Identify potential projects using sales tools and relationships with design engineering.
- Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions maximizing TI content.
- Use broad technical expertise to influence customers' part selection and position TI favorably against competition.
About You
The company is looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering, and debugging skills (preferred).
- Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions.
- Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery.
- Ability to build lasting, influential relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $90,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
