Facility Security Officer Intern (Jun 2026)

Join CACI as a Facility Security Officer Intern to support industrial security and compliance at our Southern Pines, NC location during summer 2026.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security programs per NISPOM
• Support management of personnel security clearances and visit authorizations
• Help conduct security education and awareness training for employees
• Assist in maintaining security databases and preparing reports
• Support security inspections and self-assessments
• Aid in development and review of security policies and procedures
• Participate in classified material control and destruction processes
• Assist in coordinating with government agencies on security matters

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
• Strong interest in industrial security and the defense industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred but not required
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $39,400 - $57,500
