Facilities Engineer Intern (Start ASAP)

L3Harris is seeking a Facilities Engineer Intern in Camden, AR to plan, design, and oversee facility projects supporting national security missions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, designing, and overseeing reconfiguration, maintenance, construction, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
• Gathering and reviewing data on facility/equipment specifications, restrictions, schedules, and feasibility
• Utilizing AutoCAD to develop construction documents for facility projects
• Coordinating with architecture and engineering firms on design criteria and drawings
• Preparing bid sheets, project justifications, statements of work, and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
• Reviewing and estimating design costs including equipment, labor, materials, and installation
• Managing approved budgets and approving contracts and purchases
• Overseeing construction and installation to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, cost, and schedule
• Working under supervision to set objectives and achieve operational targets
• Making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems within the job area

About You

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
