Join Citadel’s Investment Associate Summer Internship to develop financial modeling, research, and investment skills at a leading hedge fund.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Focus on a small number of stocks, learning in-depth about those companies
• Build and maintain detailed financial models
• Work with data sources to develop insights into company fundamentals
• Participate in instructor-led classroom training, investment team rotations, and team-based stock pitches
• Execute bespoke research projects reporting to analysts and portfolio managers across different industry groups
• Experience Citadel’s research technology and quantitative risk management systems

About You

The company is looking for:

• Strong organizational skills to support investment team infrastructure
• Desire and ability to learn and apply efficient financial modeling techniques
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to formulate well-supported investment theses from incomplete or imperfect information
• Skill in utilizing third-party data sets to support or refute arguments
• Interest in learning and applying new technology applications

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range of $2,500 to $3,000 per week

Training & Development

• Instructor-led classroom training covering financial modeling, business analysis, and investment evaluation
• Rotations on investment teams for hands-on research experience
• Exposure to Citadel’s technology and risk management systems

Career Progression

• Successful summer internship participants receive offers for full-time employment in the Citadel Associate Program
• The Associate Program trains junior talent into successful investment professionals on Citadel’s platform
