Collaborate with Labcorp’s Global Internship Program as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist intern while supporting EHS programs and compliance in a leading diagnostic facility.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist in maintaining EHS Programs at Phoenix, Arizona
- Assist with internal EHS Audits
- Conduct walkabouts in all departments ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Write up observations and present them to the EHS Manager to help minimize EHS related risk
- Collaborate with the EHS Team, including the EHS Manager and Director, across the Arizona, Utah, and Nevada region
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in science or a technical field related to Environment, Health and Safety
- Ability to work effectively with various internal colleagues
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to wear protective equipment, including respiratory protection and other PPE
- Compliance with immunizations and screenings as required
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
