Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Intern (Jun 2026)

Collaborate with Labcorp’s Global Internship Program as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist intern while supporting EHS programs and compliance in a leading diagnostic facility.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Assist in maintaining EHS Programs at Phoenix, Arizona
• Assist with internal EHS Audits
• Conduct walkabouts in all departments ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Write up observations and present them to the EHS Manager to help minimize EHS related risk
• Collaborate with the EHS Team, including the EHS Manager and Director, across the Arizona, Utah, and Nevada region

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in science or a technical field related to Environment, Health and Safety
• Ability to work effectively with various internal colleagues
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to wear protective equipment, including respiratory protection and other PPE
• Compliance with immunizations and screenings as required
• Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
