Assist the EHS team in facility inspections, audits, and record-keeping at AAON, Inc.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Team to conduct facility inspections and audits.
  • Recognize and record Health, Safety, and Environmental hazards at all facilities.
  • Coordinate training for Environmental, Health and Safety programs and accident prevention.
  • Assist the EHS team in documenting safety-training courses, meetings, and safety plans.
  • Organize and distribute Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemical safety and communications.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Report on safety and health awareness, issues, and statistics.
  • Embody the EHS Team Vision for engagement of a corporate safety culture, which strives to educate, inform, and collaborate with all levels of the AAON, Inc. organization.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed the 2nd year of a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, and DEQ standards and regulations.
  • Organizational skills and understanding of methods for streamlining and automating repetitive functions.
  • Ability to respond to time-sensitive issues with quick turnaround.
  • Ability to speak to a small to medium-sized group of employees.
  • Basic computer skills, spreadsheet software, and word processing knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits:

The position offers an hourly wage of $17.28 - $25.91. Additional benefits may include healthcare, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
