Arcadis seeks a Technical Intern for the Summer, focusing on environmental remediation and compliance projects within a collaborative team environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in systems design, hydraulic evaluation, and development of design reports, construction documents, and specifications.
  • Provide construction oversight and support site investigations including soil, water, and vapor sample collection in all weather conditions.
  • Assist project teams with remediation system operation and office tasks such as task coordination, data compilation, quality assurance/quality control reviews, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file review, proposal support, project strategy development, scheduling, and cost estimate preparation.
  • Support design calculations for treatment technology selection and process design drawings for groundwater, industrial, water, and wastewater projects.
  • Assist with air emissions characterization, quantification, air permitting, and compliance activities.

About You

What you'll need:

  • Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; skills in AutoCAD, GIS, and programming are preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly salary range: $16.5 - $35/hr.
