Arcadis seeks an entry-level Environmental Engineer to support environmental assessment and remediation projects with significant fieldwork and travel.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting environmental assessment and remediation projects within the Resilience Environment team
- Working alongside Senior Scientists, Engineers, Project/Program Managers, and Technical Experts
- Providing engineering design and optimization support for treatment systems
- Participating in field investigations, sampling activities, pilot programs, and full-scale remedial efforts
- Engaging in face-to-face meetings with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders
- Operation and maintenance oversight for remediation systems (water and vapor treatment)
- Design and oversight of system improvement projects and upgrades
- Soil and groundwater investigation and sample collection
- Site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies
- Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC
- Report writing, permitting, and cost estimating support
- Coordination with project managers and senior engineering staff
- Environmental remediation design tasks, including soil and groundwater remedial systems, and in-situ technology treatment design and assessments
- Travel and field work with regional business travel up to 1-2 days per week and occasional U.S. travel up to two weeks; estimated travel up to 75% during the first two years, reducing to 50% by year three
About You

- Salary range: $53,094 - $84,950, based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location
