Environmental Engineer - Water Services (Start ASAP)

Join CDM Smith as an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer supporting innovative water and wastewater projects in a collaborative team environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure
• Ensuring designs meet client specifications and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conducting site assessments and adjusting design parameters as needed
• Performing water quality analyses and modeling
• Contributing to technical report preparation, documentation, and client presentations
• Assisting in creating documents and presentations using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software
• Participating in fieldwork supporting construction management activities

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• 0 years of experience (entry-level)
• Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design
• Proficiency with Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10%

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $58,843 to $97,094
• Discretionary bonuses may apply
