Arcadis seeks Water Resources Engineers in Syracuse to design and manage sustainable water and wastewater projects.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Evaluate, plan, design, and support management of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, including pipelines, treatment, and pumping facilities.
  • Exercise judgment on intricate project details and make preliminary engineering alternative selections.
  • Conduct fieldwork such as site visits, construction inspections, sample collection, water quality analysis, asset inventory, and monitoring system setup.
  • Support professional engineering services during construction, including observation, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and permit closeouts.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturer’s representatives and contractors.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and cost estimates, and participate in client meetings.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • EIT Certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Dedication, creativity, and energy to tackle water quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience challenges

  • Salary range: $49,390 - $79,023, based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location
