Join Medpace as an Entry-Level Vendor Management Associate to support vendor relationships and contract management in a growing clinical research organization.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Learn and develop expertise in service categories supporting clinical research by managing vendor relationships and contracts
  • Support advancement of Vendor Management including building processes for vendor identification, selection, contract execution, performance management, and termination
  • Review third-party quotations, contracts, and amendments; build expertise in RFP analysis and negotiations
  • Develop and apply strategic understanding of vendor policies and procedures including sourcing and purchase contracts
  • Provide support to Vendor Managers in commercial negotiations for pricing and terms
  • Utilize governance, risk, and compliance software to manage vendor contract execution and performance
  • Support new vendor due diligence ensuring risk assessment, audit, and compliance processes are followed
  • Monitor third-party vendor performance using Medpace evaluation and escalation processes
  • May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Economics, or relevant internship experience
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of GxP regulations and guidelines
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines
