Dewberry seeks an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to support transportation engineering projects with a focus on design and client solutions.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work as part of a team on transportation engineering tasks including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, erosion and sediment control.
- Develop maintenance and protection of traffic schemes.
- Prepare construction and right-of-way acquisition plans for various project types and clients.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Transportation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency using MicroStation; Geopak and OpenRoads experience preferred.
- Experience working on NCDOT plans in design-bid-build or design-build delivery preferred.
- Working knowledge of NCDOT standards preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Desire to work in a team environment.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred.
