Entry Level Transportation Engineer (Start ASAP)

Dewberry seeks an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to support transportation engineering projects with a focus on design and client solutions.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work as part of a team on transportation engineering tasks including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, erosion and sediment control.
• Develop maintenance and protection of traffic schemes.
• Prepare construction and right-of-way acquisition plans for various project types and clients.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Transportation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency using MicroStation; Geopak and OpenRoads experience preferred.
• Experience working on NCDOT plans in design-bid-build or design-build delivery preferred.
• Working knowledge of NCDOT standards preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred.
