Entry-Level Trader (Start ASAP)

Entry-Level Trader role in Chicago involves fast-paced market-making, strategy improvement, and teamwork at Wolverine Trading.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Compete in a fast-paced market-making environment
• Contribute timely feedback and improve market strategy over time
• Communicate regularly and problem solve matters as they arise
• React calmly and confidently to electronic trading while under pressure
• Rotate through trading desks and trading strategies rapidly absorbing new concepts
• Maintain integrity by abiding by all policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

About You

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Demonstrated interest in trading and financial markets
• Desire to work in a team setting but able to think and work independently
• Knowledge of Python, C#, and/or SQL, or willingness to learn quickly
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and a self-starter
• Ability to use good judgment and maintain focus with a strong drive for success
• Ability to work on a competitive team and adapt to changing situations with ease
• No prior industry experience required but is a plus
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range approximately $50,000 - $115,000, contingent on experience
