Entry Level Structural Engineer (Start ASAP)

AECOM seeks an Entry Level Structural Engineer in Orlando, FL to perform structural design and collaborate with senior engineers in a leading global infrastructure firm.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work under the supervision and direct responsible charge of senior-level Structural Engineers.
• Perform engineering-related structural design using both hand and computer calculations.
• Develop technical specifications, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices.
• Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Relevant job experience, work, internship, or co-op is a plus.
• EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain before the start date.
• Experience or education in reinforced concrete design.
• Experience with Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, etc.
• Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Massachusetts Design Center.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A highly motivated self-starter.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible, along with the ability to adapt to project deadlines.
• Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $70,000 to $80,000, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
