Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer (Start ASAP)

Dewberry seeks an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to support site/civil and utility engineering projects across North Carolina.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Civil/Site development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management, sanitary sewer, water, and erosion and sediment control design
• Collaborate with a Professional Engineer to prepare drawing packages, deliverables, calculations, reports, and spreadsheets
• Work on design teams with other disciplines to meet project goals and deadlines
• Perform diverse civil engineering duties requiring strong communication and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and BlueBeam
• Learn and apply Dewberry engineering practices, standards, and quality reviews of assigned tasks

About You

The company is looking for:

• BS degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT certification required
• 0-2 years of design experience related to site development projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
• Ability to work on teams, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to compose technical reports, permit documents, memorandums, and other written communications
• Note: Dewberry will not sponsor new applicants for work authorization

• Participation in an Entry-Level Class Program with peers having 0-1 year of professional experience
