Join Jacobs as an Entry-Level Engineer to support multidisciplinary projects across North America, delivering innovative engineering solutions.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work on engineering tasks for clients including cities, federal agencies, manufacturing, and data centers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under guidance of professional engineers, architects, and senior staff.
- Support project coordination, engineering design using specialty software, and data collection/analysis.
- Prepare construction cost estimates, conduct code compliance reviews, and perform field investigations.
- Draft technical reports and memorandums, review equipment submittals and shop drawings.
- Respond to contractor RFIs and ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of assigned work.
- Progress from basic design assignments to more complex projects working with technical teams.
About You
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Geological, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Ideally you will also have:
- Master's degree in Structural, Transportation, Water, Fire Protection, or another specialized field aligned with opportunities.
- Previous relevant engineering internship experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $55,000 to $90,000, determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
