Join Jacobs as an Entry Level Civil Engineer in Dallas, contributing to innovative facility design and construction with expert mentorship.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Provide clients with planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery.
  • Work with power system planning, power distribution, lighting design, fire and life safety systems, vertical transportation, and construction coordination.
  • Prepare load analysis for different design stages and drawings detailing the designed systems.
  • Prepare and document energy compliance calculations and forms.
  • Collaborate within a team environment supported by expert mentorship.

About You

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Some experience in a corporate engineering environment, internship or CO-OP
  • Independent initiative, creative problem-solving, eagerness to learn, and dedication to teamwork
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in person and in writing
  • United States Citizenship
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate (ideal)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $61,800.00 to $85,000.00, determined by location, skills, experience, and education
