Entry Level Architectural Designer (Start ASAP)

Dewberry Architects seeks an Entry Level Architectural Design Professional to support diverse projects in Fairfax, VA, emphasizing design quality and career growth.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Implement design and technical skills to support a variety of clients and projects.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of nearly 30 professionals in the Fairfax office.
• Contribute to projects that value great design and quality.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 1 year internship experience with an architectural firm.
• Intern Development Program (IDP) process started with goal of licensure.
• Demonstrated experience with Revit, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Established digital and traditional rendering and graphics abilities.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles; LEED AP preferable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Design portfolio or sampling of work required.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.

Training & Development

• Participation in an entry-level program with peers having 0-1 year of professional experience.
• Regular professional development events and team-building activities led by an advisory team.
