Entry Level Accountant (Start ASAP)

Join Medpace as a full-time Accountant supporting global finance with month-end close, audits, and process improvements in a dynamic CRO environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Perform monthly close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis, issue resolution, and coordination with the global finance team
• Manage foreign external accountants and service providers to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and deadlines
• Participate in year-end financial statement audits by preparing audit work papers and responding to external audit inquiries
• Assist in enhancing, developing, and implementing process initiatives related to month-end close, financial reporting, business operations, and process improvement
• Support special projects to improve understanding of company operations and compliance with US GAAP and foreign statutory requirements

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 0 to 1 years of related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High degree of professionalism
• Ability to work well in a team environment and focus on career growth and development
