Join HP’s 12-week paid summer internship to gain hands-on supply chain experience, apply the SCOR model, and contribute to sustainability and digital transformation projects.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze and map supply chain processes using the SCOR model framework
- Identify improvement areas to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction in sourcing and logistics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, procurement, production, logistics, returns, customer service, and operations
- Support implementation of supply chain initiatives such as inventory management, demand planning, and order fulfillment
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure KPIs and track progress
- Review and analyze new supply chain concepts supporting an Integrated Supply Chain (e.g., Just In Sequence)
- Conduct sourcing market research for innovative products or categories
- Design sustainability initiatives independently or with other business functions
- Identify and implement innovative quality control processes for component suppliers
- Propose and implement new technologies for supply chain optimization
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to supply chain management and process improvement
About You
The company is looking for:
- Students who have completed 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree or 1st year of a Master’s program, typically in technical fields
- Full-time enrollment at an accredited university
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026 without future sponsorship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Preferred skills: Advanced Power BI, SQL, Access database, programming languages (Python or others), statistical analysis, financial modeling, advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), business acumen, virtual teamwork experience, and previous supply chain internships
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $29 to $35 (US candidates only), varying by location, knowledge, skills, and experience
