Join GE Appliances as a Supply Chain/Manufacturing Co-op to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Set goals and objectives for your co-op rotation with your assignment leader
- Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
- Use initiative to find and develop process improvements
- Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently
- Set regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader
- Work in GE Appliances operations supporting dishwasher, laundry, refrigeration, cooking products, and plastics center of excellence
- Engage in assignments across shop operations, process engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering, global supply chain management, quality, sourcing, materials management, and manufacturing management
- Participate on committees at Appliance Park focusing on recycling, volunteerism, and social events
- Network with business leaders and attend professional development sessions
- Work primarily on 1st shift with possible overtime and some Saturdays
- Travel required: 0% - 10% depending on role
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Science, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
- Graduation date May 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0)
- Willingness to explore all sides of Supply Chain including Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supplier Quality/Quality, Materials, Total Productive Maintenance, Lean, Distribution, Fulfillment, Consumer Operations, and Advanced Manufacturing
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Preferred: Previous co-op/internship experience
- Demonstrated leadership roles on campus or in the community
