Join ABB as an Engineering Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting operations and contributing to impactful projects in electrification, motion, robotics, or process automation.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within defined timelines.
  • Utilize understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
  • Seek feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s engineering degree program in the United States, graduating between December 2026 and June 2028.
  • Desire to learn and grow from a diverse set of experiences and people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement.
  • Valid US work authorization with no requirement for employment visa sponsorship by ABB now or in the future.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate between $20 - $34, based on qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
  • Internships in the United States are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.

Training & Development

The 12-week internship includes a comprehensive orientation to integrate into ABB's culture and offers challenging work experiences across business areas to build skills, gain business knowledge, and contribute to teams.
