Engineering Co-op (Aug 2026)

Join GE Appliances as an Engineering Co-op for Fall 2026 to gain hands-on experience in product development and engineering projects in Lafayette, GA.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work with a mentor to accomplish established goals supporting business growth and learning opportunities
• Complete innovative technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, and Software Development
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional skills
• Participate in networking and community volunteer projects
• Engage in optional social events including lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
• Graduation date of May 2027 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0)
• Legal authorization to work in the hiring country/region without visa sponsorship
• Ability to complete two or more co-op rotations before graduation (desired)
• Related coursework (desired)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (desired)
• Desire and ability to learn (desired)
• Passion for engineering (desired)
