A Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. seeks a motivated Engineer Intern for a paid full-time summer internship in Towson, MD, with potential for full-time employment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Support project tasks including regulatory reviews, cost estimates, research, and procurement support
  • Perform data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation
  • Assist in preparing reports, plans, and specifications for clients
  • Participate in field assignments as needed
  • Work under supervision of engineering staff in Transportation, Water, Structural, and Construction Management groups
  • Perform other related duties as necessary

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Honest, fun, hard-working, and eager to learn and grow

Preferred qualifications include experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, Bentley Microstation, etc.
