Join ABB as an Electrical Engineering Intern to support operations, collaborate on projects, and gain hands-on experience in Bartlesville, OK.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within defined timelines.
  • Leveraging insights about customer needs and ABB’s offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.
  • Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
  • Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
  • Designing, manufacturing, and testing components that fulfill requirements for various flow board redesigns.
  • Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing product solutions to resolve them.
  • Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
  • Updating documentation and drawings/designs using ABB tools.
  • Working directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new electrical approaches for ABB products.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaboration skills to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate between $20 - $34, determined by qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
  • Internships at ABB within the United States are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.

Training & Development
