Be an Electrical Engineering Intern at Dewberry, assisting with electrical design and construction documents for commercial and institutional projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the design and production of electrical construction documents for commercial and institutional projects.
  • Design building systems including power distribution, lighting, and life safety plans for infrastructure projects.
  • Work in a multi-discipline, team environment.

About You

What you'll need:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Previous internship experience in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Exposure to electrical engineering design.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Training & Development

  • Hands-on project experience during the summer intern program.
  • Participation in workshops and events including networking, professional development, and career planning.
  • Opportunity to work on a summer-long group project with firm leaders addressing future strategy issues.
