Electrical Engineering Co-op at GE Appliances offers hands-on experience with innovative projects in Louisville, KY, supporting growth and learning.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with an assignment leader to accomplish objectives supporting business and learning goals
  • Complete technical assignments in refrigeration, washer systems, cooking products, including PCB design, hardware design, and debugging
  • Engage with new innovations and equipment
  • Participate in development and training opportunities to enhance technical and professional skills, including communication and resume writing
  • Join optional social events such as lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts
  • Participate in committees for networking and community service activities like mentoring and tutoring elementary students

About You

What you'll need:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Graduation date of May 2027 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to complete two or more co-op rotations before graduation (desired)
  • Related coursework (desired)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (desired)
  • Desire and ability to learn (desired)
  • Passion for engineering (desired)
