Join ABB as an Electrical Engineer Intern to support product design, testing, and cross-team collaboration in a leading global technology company.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within defined timelines.
- Design, manufacture, and test components for flow board redesign projects.
- Analyze problems or deficiencies and develop product solutions to resolve them.
- Conduct experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
- Update documentation and drawings/designs using ABB tools.
- Work directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new electrical approaches for ABB products.
- Learn to use the Windchill PLM tool.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite in Bartlesville, OK.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong collaboration skills to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $20 - $34, based on qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
- Internships in the United States are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.
