Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work on applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware, software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power, communication, mechanical, propulsion, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
- Support various business units and be matched to teams based on skills and business needs.
- Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.
- Collaborate with teams in Kent, WA; Los Angeles, CA; or Denver, CO, prioritizing co-location with relevant hardware and teams.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, earned within the last year, with availability to start by Fall 2026.
- Experience with applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop.
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD or other drafting programs).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Skills in analyzing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Relevant internship, co-op, or hands-on experience demonstrating technical skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and support a culture of inclusion.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
- Flexible, adaptable, and self-driven with minimal direction.
- Desired: Advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
- Desired: Hands-on project experience and knowledge in avionics design and test, electrical systems reliability, circuit design, radiation effects, robotics, motion control, and programming languages such as C, C++, Matlab, Simulink.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or lawful admission as refugee or asylum granted is required due to export control regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges by location: CA and WA $87,816.00 - $122,942.40; CO $80,499.00 - $112,697.55; other sites may differ.
