Join ENERCON as an Electrical Engineer to design power systems for power-generating facilities in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and designing power systems for power-generating facilities, especially in the nuclear sector.
- Working closely with engineers from other disciplines to gain cross-functional experience.
- Managing assignments with minimal supervision, balancing budget, scope, schedule, and quality.
- Delivering code-compliant engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations.
- Ensuring work aligns with industry codes, standards, safety practices, and ENERCON’s Quality Assurance standards.
- Building strong client relationships through clear communication and professional collaboration.
- Traveling to plant sites to interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs of plant systems and components.
About You
The company is looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, ready to start within 1-2 months.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering core concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, conduct walkdowns, and work outdoors.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings.
- U.S. citizenship required for roles involving federal contracts.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks.
- Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000.00 - $99,600.00, based on role, level, experience, and location.
