Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) - Electrical (Start ASAP)

Join GE Appliances’ Edison Engineering Development Program to gain diverse technical experience and earn a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate in a three-year entry-level program with at least three technical rotational assignments
• Work in various technology engineering positions across GE Appliances
• Design and implement products in Refrigeration, Cooking, Dishwashers, Air Conditioning, and Washers & Dryers
• Develop technical problem-solving skills through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and product management to integrate product designs that meet customer needs

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0)
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Desire and ability to continue learning
• Commitment to a technical engineering program
• Competence in using electronic tools such as soldering iron and multimeter
• Strong work ethic
• Completion of two or more co-op or intern experiences prior to graduation
• Positions located in Louisville, KY
