Early Career Test Engineer (Sep 2026)

Join Blue Origin as an Early Career Test Engineer to design, execute, and analyze aerospace system tests within a collaborative and innovative spaceflight culture.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, plan, model, execute, and interpret tests for aerospace systems and components.
• Execute and analyze component, subsystem, and integrated vehicle testing to verify requirements and validate operational capabilities.
• Develop, release, and support engineering artifacts throughout the development cycle to support verification, testing, and operations.
• Ensure accurate recording of measurement data and provide safe, repeatable, quality test capabilities.
• Integrate safety, manufacturing, operations, materials and processes, instrumentation, test control systems, and systems engineering into test projects.
• Work on projects involving fluid, propulsion, mechanical, and electronic systems testing.
• Collaborate across Blue Origin business units, functions, and locations as part of corporate functions support.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Successful completion of a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university.
• Ability to start full-time work on or before September 2026.
• Minimum B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
• Self-driven with minimal direction needed to seek out requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawful admission as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired qualification:

• M.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary ranges: CA $78,943.00-$110,519.85; CO $72,364.00-$101,309.25; WA $78,943.00-$110,519.85 (other site ranges may differ).
