Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, installing, maintaining, and administering systems infrastructure including hardware, software, and configurations.
- Monitoring system performance to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Performing root cause analysis on failed components and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborating to establish and improve processes and procedures.
- Engaging in applied systems engineering tasks such as system definition, test, integration, safety, operations, and verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion, and electrical systems.
- Supporting Blue Origin corporate functions by providing centralized engineering support across business units, functions, and locations.
About You
What you'll need:
- Successful completion of a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university.
- Ability to start full-time work on or before September 2026.
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
- Self-driven with minimal direction needed to seek out requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawful admission as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred qualifications:
- M.S. or PhD degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges: CA $78,943.00-$110,519.85; CO $72,364.00-$101,309.25; WA $78,943.00-$110,519.85; other site ranges may differ.
