Drive innovation in propulsion engineering with hands-on design, analysis, and testing in a collaborative aerospace setting

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, analyze, and test fluid components, propulsion systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Work on applied fluid and mechanical engineering projects within Propulsion Engineering.
  • Provide centralized support across Blue Origin business units, functions, and locations.
  • Collaborate within a culture of safety, inclusion, and innovation.

About You

What you'll need:

  • Successfully completed a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
  • Enrolled or recently graduating student from a college or university.
  • Available to start full-time work on or before September 2026.
  • Minimum B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, astronautical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
  • Self-driven with minimal direction needed to seek out requirements.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and continuous learning.
  • U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum status.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Programming skills in Python, C/C++.
  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience demonstrating technical and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on project experience and co-curricular engagement.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary ranges: CA $78,943–$110,519.85; CO $72,364–$101,309.25; WA $78,943–$110,519.85 (other sites may vary).
  • Additional financial incentives for Van Horn, TX employees including living allowance and relocation assistance.
