Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in applied materials and processes engineering projects related to the development and fabrication of space vehicles and propulsion systems.
- Selecting, developing, testing, characterizing, and analyzing materials and manufacturing processes.
- Working on projects aligned with business unit objectives.
- Collaborating with Blue Origin corporate functions and business unit teams across locations.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
- Enrolled or recently graduating student from a college or university.
- Able to start full-time work on or before September 2026.
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in materials science and engineering, metallurgical engineering, chemical engineering, polymer engineering, welding engineering, or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
- Self-driven with minimal direction needed to seek out requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
- U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
- Preferred: M.S. degree in relevant engineering fields.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation ranges vary by location: CA $78,943–$110,519.85; CO $72,364–$101,309.25; WA $78,943–$110,519.85; other sites may differ.
