Help with the production of advanced space systems, enhancing quality, efficiency, and safety in a collaborative workspace.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing and production processes for aerospace products using standard engineering methods.
- Integrate design requirements into manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, facilities, and systems to produce quality products.
- Lead planning and development of engineering artifacts to transform raw materials into finished products meeting design/system requirements.
- Provide guidance to design engineering on technical specifications to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure production processes comply with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
- Work on projects involving mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid, and avionics systems manufacturing processes and tooling.
- Support development and production products with integration of design for manufacturing, test, and operations.
- Collaborate across Blue Origin business units, functions, and locations, including potential work at the Van Horn, TX site with eligibility for additional financial incentives.
About You
What you'll need:
- Successful completion of a Blue Origin internship in 2025.
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university.
- Ability to start full-time work on or before September 2026.
- Minimum B.S. degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or technology, electrical engineering or technology, materials science, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on rapid development programs.
- Self-driven with minimal direction required to seek out requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Blue Origin’s mission and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee status.
- Desired: M.S. degree in manufacturing, mechanical, materials science, or aerospace engineering.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges: CA $73,095.00-$102,333.00; CO $67,005.00-$93,805.95; WA $73,095.00-$102,333.00 (other sites may differ).
