Join GE Appliances as a Digital Technology Fall 2026 Intern to gain hands-on IT experience and develop leadership skills in a fast-growing appliance company.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Work on important and challenging projects alongside experienced technical professionals
  • Engage in assignments such as application development (web, client-server, standalone, mobile) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Participate in systems management and optimization
  • Contribute to business process re-engineering
  • Support infrastructure management and environmental design/build-out
  • Assist with security and controllership tasks
  • Gain exposure to key IT and business leaders and current full-time DLDPs
  • Participate in extracurricular activities for social and professional development

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0)
  • Graduation date of May 2027 or later
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (GE Appliances will not sponsor work visas for this position)
  • Desired: prior intern, co-op, or research experience in technology
  • Strong commitment to a career in technology with passion and aptitude for IT
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • General business and finance understanding
