Design Researcher Intern to plan and conduct user research, synthesize findings, and support product decisions at Rocket.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with other Design Researchers to plan and conduct user research studies within a given business area
  • Synthesize and share research findings with cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams
  • Visualize research into artifacts such as customer journey maps, service blueprints, and personas
  • Explore new business areas, research methods, and disciplines

About You

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, anthropology, sociology, or related field
  • Knowledge of exploratory research activities such as contextual inquiry, ethnography, and diary studies
  • Knowledge of evaluative research activities such as usability testing, heuristics evaluations, surveys, and clickstream analysis
  • Knowledge of facilitating ideation, alignment, and engagement workshops with various disciplines and stakeholders
  • Understanding of the mortgage or financial services industry (fintech)
