Design Researcher Intern to plan and conduct user research, synthesize findings, and support product decisions at Rocket.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Work closely with other Design Researchers to plan and conduct user research studies within a given business area
- Synthesize and share research findings with cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams
- Visualize research into artifacts such as customer journey maps, service blueprints, and personas
- Explore new business areas, research methods, and disciplines
About You
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, anthropology, sociology, or related field
- Knowledge of exploratory research activities such as contextual inquiry, ethnography, and diary studies
- Knowledge of evaluative research activities such as usability testing, heuristics evaluations, surveys, and clickstream analysis
- Knowledge of facilitating ideation, alignment, and engagement workshops with various disciplines and stakeholders
- Understanding of the mortgage or financial services industry (fintech)
