Copywriting Intern (Jun 2026)

Join Rocket as a Copywriting Intern to develop marketing copy across platforms while gaining mentorship and hands-on experience.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Create copy for Rock Family of Companies branded internal and external materials under the mentorship of the copywriting team
• Write engaging content for print, video, social media, email, and other digital mediums
• Attend informational kick-off meetings to learn the scope and responsibilities of each assigned project
• Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership teams
• Coordinate projects and manage workflow to meet deadlines
• Complete tasks as requested by team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all materials

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Previous writing experience or portfolio of work samples
• Creative thinking skills and innovative approach to content development (preferred)
• Self-motivated mentality with ability to work independently (preferred)
• Interest in pursuing a career in journalism, marketing, or communications (preferred)
• Experience with content management systems or digital publishing platforms (preferred)
