About Vogue

Vogue is an American monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine that covers many topics, including haute couture fashion, beauty, culture, living, and runway. Based at One World Trade Center in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, Vogue began as a weekly newspaper in 1892 before becoming a monthly magazine years later. Since its founding, Vogue has featured numerous actors, musicians, models, athletes, and other prominent celebrities.

Your Role

  • Assess the current state of the business and brand in the category to identify opportunities — including changing competitive subscription & membership landscapes.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the competitive and market landscape to help identify and recommend each brand’s subscription & membership marketing opportunities as well as identify insights that will inform recommendations for the continued evolution of each brand’s website & email marketing strategies.
  • Assist with ad hoc campaign measurement, reporting, and analysis against relevant A/B tests, marketing campaigns, KPIs, and goals.
  • Partner with the Creative Department in the project management (briefing, tracking, and delivery) of all digital campaign assets.
  • Assist with end-to-end Site and Email acquisition marketing campaign execution from set-up to QA.

Training & Development

In 2014, the company launched Institut des Métiers d’Excellence (IME), a hands-on, internal training program. The free, year-long vocational training school is designed to impart luxury-specific qualifications for jobs across LVMH’s 70 brands to the next generation of talent, according to Chantal Gaemperle, group executive vice president of human resources and synergies at LVMH. To date, the program has trained over 800 apprentices; the group inducted a new class of 300 trainees in October, 10 times more than it trained in its first iteration.

Benefits

Here are some of the benefits and programs to support eligible professionals' well-being needs:

  • Paid Sick Leave.
  • Paid Holidays / Vacation.
  • Casual Dress/Atmosphere.

  • Flex-Time / Flexible Schedule.

Career Progression

Vogue’s hiring process is handled entirely by its parent company, Condé Nast. It’s possible to get an internship at Vogue as a college or university student, although openings are not always available every year. When it does, most of the positions are for the content and editorial team, and the duration of the internship is usually around six months time.

Work-Life Balance

Achieving better harmony between personal and professional life seems to be everyone’s priority. Also in the fashion industry, where burnout has often been the price to pay to have a creative career. Vogue wants its employees to love where they work. To create this positive environment, they uphold a culture that strives to improve work-life integration and the well-being of its employees.

Culture & Vibe

The working culture in Vogue is a marriage between two of the most intense and fast-paced industries—fashion and media. One thing that many of its employees agree on, past and current, is that working in Vogue is never boring, since you may do many different things each day, and deal with different people.

About You

  • Knowledge of brand and direct digital marketing strategies, including continuing education of new brand and marketing tactics and tools - or desire to learn.
  • Familiarity with the website, email, or e-commerce A/B testing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and contribute insights.
  • Skilled at prioritization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of navigating complex organizations and taking direction from multiple people.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a keen creative sensibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software - Gsuite preferred.
  • Cheerful, enthusiastic work ethic and a sense of humor.
  • Interest in Condé Nast brands is helpful, but not essential.
  • Rising senior.
  • Ability to work out of the 1 WTC office on a hybrid basis.
