Construction Representative 2 (New Grads!) (Start ASAP)

Perform construction inspections, document structural conditions, and report deficiencies for CDM Smith, a company committed to employee growth and meaningful projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform construction inspections of basic to moderate complexity under direct supervision.
• Evaluate the condition of structures and document deterioration and structural condition.
• Document deficiencies between design and execution of construction.
• Perform sampling as needed.
• Report discovered deficiencies or construction issues to project leadership.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• High School diploma, Vocational Technical degree, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience (equivalent additional experience may substitute for degree).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new computer or smartphone applications.
• Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in construction.
• Ability to read, understand, interpret, and explain construction plans, drawings, contract provisions, and specifications.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time, depending on workload and project demands.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $31.66 to $50.65 per hour, varying by geographic location and experience.
• Discretionary bonuses may apply.
