Join Amazon as a Construction Manager Intern to support facility infrastructure projects and gain hands-on experience in construction management.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting implementation of facility network infrastructure including new builds, retrofits, and expansions.
  • Partnering with internal customers and external stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Ensuring contracted resources meet duration and quality targets.
  • Influencing internal stakeholders and holding them accountable.
  • Supporting construction managers to maintain schedules and budgets across multiple projects.
  • Helping invent and simplify innovative solutions for improved processes and results.
  • Observing and supporting Amazon’s safety programs and standards.
  • Ensuring contract labor skills match project needs.
  • Assisting with budget, schedule tracking, and forecasting.
  • Coordinating with authorities having jurisdiction to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participating in daily tasks such as contractor coordination, contract negotiation, and project status updates.
  • Supporting sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices.
  • Utilizing Amazon information systems to update scheduling, budgets, and key developments.
  • Observing and participating in weekly architect, owner, and contractor meetings.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week during a 12-week summer internship between May and September 2026.
  • Ability to relocate nationwide; relocation assistance provided if eligible.
  • No visa sponsorship available for this role.
  • Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Strong time management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay ranging from $25.43 to $56.88 depending on geographic market and experience.
  • Potential equity, sign-on payments, and other compensation as part of total package.

Training & Development

This internship provides learning opportunities in construction, engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management, working alongside Amazon’s construction leaders.
