Join Lennar as a Construction Intern in Oklahoma City, gaining hands-on experience in homebuilding from foundation to completion with a leading Fortune 500 homebuilder.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work with experienced associates in building single-family homes from foundation to completion.
- Work in the field alongside trade partners on drywall, electrical, framing, plumbing, and other building stages.
- Potentially collaborate with homeowners to resolve any open issues after home completion.
- Learn to evaluate the quality of a home and work as part of a team.
- Gain exposure to a large corporate culture.
- Perform community clean-up tasks at inventory homes, models, and home sites.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Current college or university student, preferably in a construction management program.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to self-development.
- Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily schedule.
- Accept constructive feedback and be a team player.
