Cleared Software Engineer Intern (Jun 2026)

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing architecture for new software components and improving application UI/UX.
• Collaborating with on-site and remote engineers on front-end applications and back-end microservices.
• Solving technical problems and meeting program objectives within an agile development cycle.
• Suggesting improvements to UX/UI and software baseline to meet mission needs.
• Working on new technologies to build customer-focused UI applications.
• Utilizing industry design patterns and open-source tools.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
• Entry-level coding experience and knowledge.
• Experience with REST-based web services.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, CSS pre-processors (SASS, Less, Stylus), and JavaScript build tools (Browserify, WebPack, Closure).
• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Linux environment and shell scripting.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $39,900 - $79,900 (national average, varies by location and experience).
