Join ENERCON as a new graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to design and evaluate structural systems supporting critical energy infrastructure.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Design and evaluate structural systems for power-generating facilities, focusing on energy infrastructure and community resilience projects.
- Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Take ownership of assignments and contribute to high-quality, code-compliant engineering documents.
- Apply industry standards, especially those relevant to the nuclear sector.
- Travel to plant sites, conduct walkdowns, and gain field experience.
- Build strong client relationships and work alongside senior engineers for field data collection.
- Learn and apply codes and standards, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to new software systems.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
- Graduation date between May and August 2026, preferably May-June 2026.
- Preferred coursework in Steel, Concrete, and Structural Analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings.
- U.S. citizenship required for some federal contract roles.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, level, experience, and location.
