Join ENERCON as a Civil/Structural Engineer to design structural systems for power-generating facilities and contribute to America's energy transition.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and designing structural systems supporting power-generating facilities.
- Collaborating with engineers from multiple disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Managing assignments with minimal oversight, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Producing accurate, code-compliant engineering documents such as drawings, calculations, and technical evaluations.
- Staying current with industry codes, standards, and safety practices, especially in the nuclear sector.
- Aligning work with client expectations and ENERCON’s Quality Assurance standards.
- Traveling to plant sites to interface with client personnel and perform walk-downs of plant structures and systems.
- Building strong client relationships through professional communication and quality engineering work.
About You
The company is looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably with design modification experience.
- Proficiency in structural design preparation and knowledge of structural analysis/design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and RISA-3D preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards and ability to create comprehensive design documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in teams.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, conduct walkdowns, and work outdoors.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings.
- U.S. citizenship required for roles involving federal contracts.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks.
- Available to start within 1-2 months.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000.00 - $99,600.00, based on role, level, experience, and location.
