Join Arcadis as a Technical Intern/Civil Engineering Co-op to gain hands-on experience in civil and environmental engineering projects within a global consultancy.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Engage in civil engineering design related to soil remediation, stormwater management, hydraulic and hydrologic evaluations.
  • Develop design reports, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Assist project teams with land development tasks associated with remediation system designs.
  • Perform office tasks including task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, quality assurance/quality control reviews, report writing, and construction drawing preparation.
  • Assist with design calculations for bulk earthwork, stormwater management, hydraulics, and pipe burial.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required; additional skills in AutoCAD, GIS, and programming preferred.
  • Preference given to candidates interested in working long-term in Cincinnati or Columbus offices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly salary range: $16.5 - $35/hr.
